Although there was loadshedding at the time of my short visit,some few other stores operated with backup power. That was awesome. I didn't see the main town. It is a clean town except the undrinkable tap water. It is a very beautiful and suitable for work places. I enjoyed food from Rock mamas, nandos and Panarotis. It is very easy to get around almost every place in Middelburg. I liked going to Middelburg mall. Overall a very nice town.
Friendly people. Could use a cinema though. But very nice nature in the suroundings. Plenty to do if u have the time I think. Spur at the mall is great. Especially if you have kids. Great mall. Subburbs are clean with lovely gardens. Traffic not bad in city. Streets can be confusing but people are real friendly in helping if you get lost. Very cold in the winter and very hot in summer.
Lot of nature sights to see in the area like sabie.. The place is ideal if want to get out of the busy Joburg scene to a more relaxed and breath of fresh air to recharge. However not much to do unless your into fishing, don't mind driving because then you can find yourself at a natural pool or just enjoy the beautiful nature filled scenery and interact with the wonderful locals!!!
Iwas very impressed about the bed, it was very comfortable. The room was very clean and the the unlimited tv stations was perfect. I had breakfast at the lodge and it as great and i was easy to find my way around. Our hosts were very friendly. She and her husband helped us with many valuable Information about Kruger National Park and Mpumalanga Breakfast was a big portion and very tasty. We liked their hospitality and came once more on our trip to Joburg again.
We had a nice and unforgetable BBQ evening together.

Friendly staff, hosts and the lovely sounds of the neigbour's birds. Fridge, microwave coffee, rusks and all the extras in the room you would usually expect from much more expensive guest houses. The room was beautiful, modern and very spacious. The breakfast was very good and tasty. Friendly staff and owners. They made you feel very welcome.
