In addition, the Tradouw, Gymanshoek, and Garcia Passes are beautiful to drive through. Witsand is 40 km from Heidelberg and a small beach town used for fishing, watersurfing and swimming.

My wife and I visited the place, but found it totally overrated. A few old pieces, cameras covered in dust as part of an "exhibition". Rated as excellent? No way.

I live in Heidelberg and when I get a chance I love to have a browse around this place, there are so many interesting things to tempt you, from books to art deco kitchen cabinets, old chests to military equipment.
I bought myself an old soldiers helmet here, weighs a ton but I love it. This shop is well worth taking a detour for and the charming Glen will always give you a warm welcome.
