In March , Mina Guli finished running 40 marathons across 7 deserts on 7 continents in 7 weeks. In April , she completed her second marathon challenge — this time in just 40 days.
Now, she is on her quest to reach marathons in days to raise awareness about the vital importance of valuing the water of our planet. On Marathon 62, Mina suffered multiple stress fractures to her right femur. RunningDry will continue as a movement, as she is inviting people to help her log a marathon a day by donating kilometers.
As for her, she is continuing on the journey, meeting water heroes and telling stories of people in water crisis areas around the world. We cover sustainability with a unique, rotating editorial line that focuses on water winter , nature spring , energy summer and transport autumn.

The Boeteka Padstal has everything you expect from a farm stall including preserves, biscuits, curios and a restaurant. We visited them as I was recommended to get some of their Karoo Lamb Chops for our "braai" barbecue that evening by a friend who comes from the area. Although the chops were frozen the lady helped us select the freshest pack packed that morning and they were very tasty. They are about 10 minutes from the N1 turn off so it might be just out of the way for some, but if you are looking to explore a bit you can definitely give them a try.
