You have to be logging in with new voucher code and password every mb , so forget about backing up your pictures to the cloud to free memory of the phone , and forget about listening to the radio online. If I had known that they have such connection I would choose to stay elsewhere or at least would be better prepared with back up options!

Douglas was aardig en gaf een korte uitleg over het appartement en vertelde ons de route naar het centrum. De locatie is op een loopafstand van het centrum. Je kunt de auto beveiligd laten staan. Stellenbosch is een mooie en gezellige plaats.

Het appartement is zeer goed uitgerust, echter een eettafel met stoelen ontbreekt, tenzij je op buitenterras gaat eten. Wifi is gratis op basis van 50 MB coupons. Dit is niet ontspannend voor een gast, die veel wilt internetten. Je kon helaas niet lang douchen, omdat het douchewater niet goed wegliep. Douglas zei dat hij dit op zal lossen. Daarnaast praatte hij opdringerig over het christelijke geloof, wat wij als onprettig hebben ervaren.

We booked Serenahof for two nights at the last minute via Booking. We chose the studio apartment although they have other larger apartments for available. On arrival we were shown in to the secure parking and allocated a parking space right next to our front door.
Serenahof was built in and the high ceilings and layout of the place denotes the period in which it was built. The bedroom which served as a sitting room had two easy rocking chairs and a flat screen tv.

The bathroom had a huge walk in shower, and we even had a balcony with tables and chairs overlooking the grassy area at the front of the building. Yes the building is old and the stairwells to the upper floor can be echoey if people are talking in them, Yes the block is on a street which is used as a walk through between Stellenbosch and the river so there are constantly people too and fro but none of this detracted from the fact that we enjoyed our stay - Serenahof delivered exactly what we wanted and at great value.
