It is situated in a very nice quiet area, the staff is very friendly. The guesthouse is overall very neat and clean. Very spacious room with a fully equipped kitchen and two separate bedrooms one upstairs. The room was very clean and there was a warm welcome by the owner. The location is quiet and safe just a bit off the road to Jacobs Bay. It is only a few mintes drive to the town and beach. Good value for money. Blue Bay Lodge is located outside Saldanha Bay, less than feet from the beach. It features spacious accommodations, 2 swimming pools, and a tennis court.

It has everything you need from petrol to shopping.
It is not a big town so you cannot get lost and directions are easily seen. There is very little entertainment in this town and one has to drive out to the coastal towns along the West Coast to find restaurants or other entertainment. Not the ideal spot over the Christmas break. Vredenberg is a central point for people wanting to explore the West Coast area.
It has a wonderful mall and there are many other amenities. The accommodation is reasonably priced compared to towns in a km radius. I especially loved the big shower head and water pressure and the massive pillows on the gigantic extra length bed. We traveled up to Paternoster for a wedding and Vredenburg was only 15mins drive from the venue and it was quiet and well equipped and very comfortable, perfect to get ready in and to recover in after the big night. Accommodation was great, however as a Muslim it's not easy to find halaal food if you not into Kentucky.
Total buzz killer. So passing through is fine, but if you planning on a long stay, bring your own food. It wasn't as noisy as in the city.

I think you need a little more places for dinning out. We ate at Spur and Ocean Basket We are pensioners and also need some special places to go sit and relax. Having something like drinks and snacks. Something like that with nice comfortable seating. The room was spacious, clean and very well presented. We asked for two single beds, as it was for my daughter and myself and it was provided.
Bathroom and shower were excellent and clean.
The kitchen had everything that we required for our stay. My grandson's school played rugby, hockey and netball against Vredenburg Primary School and Vredenburg Boutique Lodge is just down the road from the school.
