For some time now all I have thought about was my days at Nigel High School and my band years. Your photos of the school bring back even more memories. I live in England now, i have completed a 22 year service in the RAF and am now settled with a family and two beatifull children who are 7 and 9. I cant get over how time has gone so quick since my very good school days at Nigel High.
I loved living in SA and dream of the day i once again visit, which I hope is soon. I won the cup for efficiency in 77 by the way. I did tape us playing once in the assemble hall but over the years i have lost it. I would love to hear those tunes again like Thunderer which was my favorite.

I know you were friendly with her sister. Years and years ago I heard a rumour you were In Australia. Ching, Kathy Taylor came for a visit and I took out my old school albums and there was a great photo of the two of you as Cheerleaders for Arcadia! Hi Mr Daff, its been a very long time. Would love to hear how Jackie and Lorraine are doing?
I remember them fondly. Still occasionally hear about Myrna Jodeikin as she is good friends with my sister-in-law. Had a very special time with Kathy- never stopped laughing! We were astounded at how much we could remember of NHS days, particularly with 3 brains helping to fill in the blanks!.
Coincidentally, my husband was at Knockando sp? I have lived in South America, various places in Canada and now live in Monterey Bay, California, although we still return to the lake in Canada for the Summer and various other times during the year. Sadly he died a few years ago at the age of 42! He is survived by a wonderful son and daughter who are still living in South Africa.
I still miss him very much! Martello, I DO remeber you and Theo!

He was the 1 who would fly over school and over the hostel during his night-flying exercises in the noisy S. F harvard. Also still flying said noisy Harvard for the Flying Lions Aerobatic team! Sue Kruger Alder and I had the best visit ever. Daughter in London, son a pilot and youngest daughter in Port Elizabeth. Pity we have been scattered so far and wide!
