Our plan was to stop just for one night in Hermanus, but we changed idea 30 min after we arrived!
Their warm welcoming, their kindness showing us the best places in Hermanus, spending time with us like a family, made our stay really special. The house is fully serviced, clean and cozy and for sure we absolutely recommend this place. We keep coming back for the peace and quiet. Not at the seafront, but a 5 minute walk or 2 minutes drive to the beautiful cliff path that leads practically from one end of Hermanus to the other. The cottage is a cool quiet retreat minutes from the hustle and bustle of the town center. Very private and fenced and security is excellent!
The shower has good water pressure, bed very comfortable and linen good , and the compact kitchen provides everything needed for a home cooked meal. The host Dirk is absolutely dedicated to make sure you are comfortable even when he can not be present, by personally phoning to find out if everything is as it should be. I so appreciate the fact hat my precious Toy Pom Jean Pierre is also welcome and so safe here.

Location is very good, wifi speed is very good. Owner is very nice person I will definitely stay there again. Great host, great location with everything you need to have a great holiday! Clean and everything you need is present.
Close to the city and harbour convenient if you go on a whale trip. The host was very flexible with checking out. The rooms are spacious and the braai area outside is great. Good quality linen and towels were appreciated as were the stocked containers with tea and coffee.
