Patients who may benefit from the group are patients who have suffered brain injuries; patients who have difficulty adjusting to cognitive of physical difficulties after brain injury and who may suffer from mood or anxiety disorders subsequent to brain injury; and patients who are interested in learning about coping strategies to deal with the emotional and cognitive consequences of their brain injury. The group is not suitable for patients who are acutely psychotic or have severe communication difficulties.
Please note: This is an open group and patients can join at any time. The cost is R 80 per session discounted fees available depending on financial need. Booking is essential. Join Dementia SA at a Support Group where we discuss the challenges of dementia, provide counselling and support. This is a support group in Pretoria-East, Gauteng for parents with babies or children with Developmental delay, Autism, Down-syndrome, cerebral Palsy, Bipolar and more.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by reception staff. Our tour guide introduced himself and from there there were good interactions. The tour guide was knowledgeable about Basotho culture and different names used by Basotho. We had a fabulous tour which was interesting and informative.

There museum is alive because there are human being performing everything that is explained. The second queen was not friendly, she was the person with the worst attitude at the museum, our tour guide had to demonstrate what was supposed to be demonstrated by her.

We have been going to Golden Gate for last couple of years, and kept meaning to go. Really glad on this time that we made it. We had a very personable guide by the nickname of Twice.
