We've eaten at Myoga divine! The views of the mountain, having breakfast, is always a memory one takes with. I can go on and on about this hotel. The roof of Splash Cafee is covered with solar panels, and huge water tanks shows a hotel that considers the environment.
We will make our booking for next year soon! This hotel was set in one of the most beautiful areas in Capetown, Newlands. The setting with the backdrop of Table Mountain and the gorgeous gardens was spectacular. I woke every morning and thought I was in a dream. The staff were friendly, curtious and helpful in all ways. The close proximity to the start of the 56km Two Oceans Ultra Marathon was the reason for picking this hotel and our expectations were exceeded fold.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to any of my friends intending to holiday in Cape Town. The hotel is beautifully appointed and is situated in a lovely area of Cape Town. It is steeped in history and is an extremely well run and maintained hotel. The general public areas are all well appointed, excellent restaurants are available and the breakfast is outstanding.
Staff are attentive and most have been working at the hotel for many years. A great hotel to stay at and spotlessly clean! My wife and I always go here when we need a little r and r. We were fortunate enough to be able to take our kids with this time. The facilities at the hotel are great, the staff are amazing and the place is just very well run and extremely kid friendly.
The tasting menu at Myoga is our favourite thing to do when we are in Cape Town. Only stayed for one night, but was really impressed with this hotel.
Was nicer than a 5 star hotel I stayed in in Cape Town by far. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Cape Town.

A lovely hotel set in amazing gardens manicured by several very large tortoises. We had a large room with a balcony that looked out on Table Mountain. The food was good as was the service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked the large terrace where we enjoyed a few drinks. The swimming pool area was a little crowded. The location is good because you are a short distance from the Waterfront and with easy access to Hout Bay, Simonstown, the Cape etc. We thought it was tremendous value for money and would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is very conveniently situated in town , especially for the Claremont shopping centre which is really good and much better priced than the inflated prices at the Waterfront. It is also a good place to stay if you are making you way to the airport early in the morning as we were, as it is not too far away.
Breakfast was extremely good with wonderful fresh breads and pastries alongside the normal cooked offerings.

Lunch on the terrace was also excellent and the food was simple but of a very high standarsd and totally delicious. Unfortunately we did not have time to eat in the main restaurant. We didn't have a good impression when we first checked in as the person who checked us in was not very welcoming. We felt very rushed and wasn't exactly 'service with a smile'. After checking in, we were taken to our room only to find out that our beds were configured as two singles put together. They could have at least given us a double duvet but instead we even had two single sheets, duvets etc.
This was after we had specifically requested for a double or king if possible.

When we went back to recept to request for a double, the same person who checked us in said she'll see what see can do and can probably just put a convertor on the beds At the time of booking, we had mentioned that we were on our honeymoon, although we weren't expecting any special treatment, we thought that they could at least have sorted out the bed. We didn't let that dampen our spirits, we were on our honeymoon afterall!
Luckily things from then on improved beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, staff were very attentive and friendly each morning. We had dinner at the Myoga restaurant one evening and it was a real treat - the staff and food was top marks. Bellboys and valet guys were great too. Overall it was a great stay, perhaps we just had a staff member who was having a bad day when we checked-in! Wonderful hotel. Staff are fantastic and plentiful.
Great setting and facilities. Will definately return on my next visit to Cape Town. This is a family run hotel and I really felt like part of the family. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The gardens are stunning adding to the relaxed feeling of the Hotel. The afternoon tea on the terrace looking out at the beautiful gardens and mountain view was superb and very reasonably priced. The pool area is great and certainly one of the better gyms I have found in a hotel.

I would defenitely stay here again and recommend it to all my friends. I also loved the enviromental awareness and local projects that the Hotel participates in. I even felt good about spending my money in this hotel!
I finally got to stay at my favourite hotel, the staff are so warm and welcoming nothing is to much trouble, The mountain view room is lovely and spacious with a fabulous view from the balcony on to the gardens,trees and mountains. The restaurant does fantastic food which is reasonably priced for a hotel of this standard.
The hotel staff were courteous. They answered questions knowlegeably and with a smile. Though the hotel was busy, the staff always took time to greet me and never rushed me.

Check in was quick, the room was clean and well stocked, and my stay was magical. The view was magnificient and the services incredible. Breakfast offered a full variety of foods. The dinning room was beautiful, and the staff made me feel like the most important person in the world. I used the swimming pool and the spa. Though the gym was used by many guests, I was alone in the pool.
Due to the high level of stress in my job, I am booked for a weekly massage in Canada thus I accessed the spa for a massage. What a lovely experience!
