Somerset Lodge is set in an English country style garden in the village of Montagu along Route It features a swimming pool and all rooms have a private patio. It was our wedding night, when owners found out they upgrade our booking to honeymoon suite This thatched roof guest house offers spacious accommodations with a private entrance. Each has a patio with views of the lush garden or Bloupunt Peak. Beautiful room layout in African rondel style.

Everything was perfect! The fact that there are only 4 bungalows makes you feel like home, Gerry is Set in the town of Montagu, along the scenic Route 62, this charming guest house welcomes guests looking to experience traditional South African hospitality. Great location in a lovely little town.

We had a charming room in the old historic house. Mountain View Lodge is located below Kanonkop, and above the center of the town of Montagu along Route This eco-friendly property features a swimming pool and a deck which overlooks the valley. We only stayed one night but were made very welcome. One of the most budget-friendly options for accommodation in Montagu but a feeling of luxury normally associated with far pricier accommodation.
About Montagu
Lovely hosts and overall a very pleasant stay. It felt like the opening scenes of an apocalyptic movie. I was transported back to the decor, the Cadillacs, the neat but deserted village.

I hope the hotel will weather this storm as I am sure it has many in its history. Wonderful breakfast. Lovely hotel situated in a beautiful area. Lots of really good restaurants in walking distance. Hosts were so charming and so helpful. Loved the pool and garden. Lovely comfortable, well equipped self catering accommodation. Ideal place to wind down and relax. Nice outdoor seating and Braai area and a welcoming pool! Within easy walking distance of the Main Street, shops and eateries. We had a very good breakfast and lunch at the Cape Dry Bistro.
We will certainly stay at Koo Karoo on our next trip!

Super friendly staff The room was very clean Beautiful gardens surround the hotel Hotel was in walking distance from over attractions. Very good location if you want peace and quiet. We stayed in the self-catering apartment and although we did not cook it is possible to make a decent meal there. Spacious with fresh clean linen, kitchen and bathroom clean. Made us feel welcome and even moved his vehicle so we could have the only secure parking at the premises.
Beautiful setting and the splash pool so welcoming in the heat. We truly enjoyed our stay If you want to leave the hustle and bustle of daily life behind I can highly recommend a stay at the African game lodge. The tranquility, it's a peaceful cottage.
